Hello... I am still here!!

Just a quick hello and a sweet picture to go along with it. I will be offline the next few days again. So I had to do a quick post. I am falling behind on updating on here!

Portrait sessions at the park... | Monticello and Big lake Minnesota Portrait Photography

For all of you that are in Big Lake or Monticello, Minnesota (or surrounding areas) this is for you! I am so excited that I will be down in that area for a short time at the end of June! I have had a few people interested in a photo shoot. So this is the perfect way to get you in, in one trip! I have 6 slots open right now. and I am going to do 2 days, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, to work better around your schedules.

I haven't decided on a park as of now, but I will hopefully by the end of the week. I am going to try for a park that is near downtown or some old buildings. So, it is going to be a blast and what a perfect time to get some updated portraits on your wall! I was so honored and excited when my brother and his wife asked me to come and be with them in the hospital during the birth of baby number 2! I have wanted this chance to be able to be there to photograph such a special time for quite a while. So when they asked, it was a YES, YES! The welcoming of a new baby is such a special time and if those of you that have had babies are anything like me, you want as many pictures of the little one right away! For myself, during delivery and after baby is born, I always have to remember to tell my husband to grab the camera!





Anyways, I hope you will cherish these images of you and your new little Harrison right after he was born! I love all of them and they show both of your emotions so awesome after welcoming your little angel!

Hugo and Leslie | Trilogy at Vistancia Wedding

WOW!!! It has been FOREVER since I updated on here! Sorry, having dial up internet temporarily is not fun! It takes all day to do one thing. And I don’t have the time or patience to sit and watch a computer screen slowly load up.

Anyways back at the end of April, I had the pleasure of shooting Hugo and Leslies wedding at the beautiful Trilogy of Vistancia in Peoria. I was so excited when they hired me to photograph their wedding because I also shot Leslies sister Danielles wedding a couple years ago. I have also had the chance to see their family at a few friends weddings that I have shot! It was fun to see your family again Lois.

Here is some fun detail shots from the day.

The girls spent a lot of time putting together the favors and flowers. I could hardly believe that the flowers were all silk! I didn’t notice until I went to pick up Leslies flowers and noticed how light they were!


They had a guestbook made from all of the pictures of the two of them. I love these albums, and it is such an awesome keepsake to have from your wedding. I have found that couples like having these rather than a book full of signatures! And more guests actually sign them with a little note to you the couple. I now offer these photobook guestbooks and brides love them!

Such gorgeous lighting. Hugo and Leslie chose not to see each other before the ceremony. So they planned an earlier ceremony which left us with the perfect lighting after for portraits.






The night finished for me after this sweet dance as husband and wife.
