I need all of your help on this one!

Another great reason I love this time of year is being able to give back! Each year, my husband and I (and now our kids too) like to do something to help someone else out. This year I am leaving it up to you guys, so lets get started!

Starting today through December 15th, I am going to donate one can/food item for each comment that is left on the blog, to the local food bank.

December already!

WOW!! It is already December, how time flies! this is my favorite time of the year, fun long weekend of Thanksgiving, putting up Christmas decorations, beautiful cold crisp weather(although its still slowly trickling in!) and just the season. The nummy cups of hot chocolate, cozy sweaters, Christmas music playing, holiday baking, the parties with family and friends! just a fun, busy time of year that I love!

We had fun over the weekend taking out all of our Christmas stuff and the kids pretty much decorated the tree and told us where they wanted the outdoor stuff. It is so fun that they are at the age where they just love helping and have so much fun doing it. It just takes the stress of decorating right out of it and turns it into a FUN time full of laughs!

Anyways, now we get to start thinking about the shopping that needs to get done! my kids have been scouring ads and giving us all kinds of ideas. So, what better excuse to go out on a date with Hubby and get all the shopping done in one night! Is that possible??! Maybe we better make a couple date nights out of it;)!

Thanksgiving...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

I love thanksgiving! The food, the family, the lazing about all afternoon... the whole day!

Thanksgiving is a great excuse for us to think about what we are thankful for, so here are a few things that I am always thankful for: happy family, healthy family, plenty of food and a roof over our heads, my job, hubby has only a few more weeks of block 1 in the nursing program! only 3 left to go:) so far healthy little babes growing like normal and a healthy pregnancy. and many other things in my life.

Of course tomorrow we will get together with my side of the family and since there is so many of us, we all get to bring a couple things and we will have a huge, delicious spread! The best part of the whole meal will be the ham, which is not normally a thanksgiving food but what the heck! the green bean casserole, the nummy homemade bread/rolls, and of course the boring old red jello with whipped cream and marshmellows! for some reason everyone just loves that jello and it is at every family meal! And of course the nummy desserts later on in the afternoon(although, our hips could probably do without those!)

I met up with this fun family a little over a week ago to take some pictures for them, before Dad got deployed two days later on Sunday! Thank you again for your service to our country!

I LOVE when the men from Fedex or UPS ring my doorbell! That means they are bringing me some lovely goodies! That was this morning, while busy washing the windows throughout my house, the doorbell rang. AND it was this gorgeous album that the wonderful man dropped off!

It has this beautiful image wrapped right onto the cover with a black leather spine and back.

It is a 10x10 with 23 pages.


Heres a couple of the spreads, showing the full page printing with no gap in the middle.


The pictures really don't show you the real beauty! You have to hold it in your hands and feel the soft leather, the perfect thickness of the pages and of course the beautiful couple that it showcases!

Baby # 10 baby shower

We had a baby shower for my oldest sister a few nights ago. It was tons of fun and she got tons of nice new gifts for the new baby!

I just love taking pictures of tiny little babies! This is Maggie, my newest little niece. She was awake and fidgety for the most part, but we got some of her that I think are adorable! She was about 4 days old and she was a tiny 7.5lbs.

This was the very first picture I took after I laid her down, I just love her little fists on her cheeks!


And of course her tiny little feet...

Holiday Mini session Details...

Here are the details for our holiday mini sessions. I have decided to do 2 Sundays towards the end of October, the 18th and the 25th.

These sessions are the perfect time to get pictures of you and your family! And it is the perfect time to get them, not only will you get great pictures to display around your house, you will have brand new pictures to use for the holidays, or give as gifts!

The session fee is $85 and that includes the 30 minute photo session, a set of 25 (5x7,front & back) custom greeting cards, and an online gallery.

The session location is not completely set yet, but it will be in the North Scottsdale/Phoenix area.

The session dates are October 18th and October 25th.
the times will be for both days:
1:00-1:30
1:45-2:15
2:30-3:00
3:15-3:45

The images will be placed in your online gallery 1-2 weeks after the session. From that gallery you will choose 3-5 pictures to use on your cards and email me the image numbers. From the gallery you will also be able to purchase any prints, order enlargements, or order a beautiful canvas for the wall. Additional sets of cards can also be purchased as well as the DVD with all high resolution images.

I am sure the slots will fill up fast so email me today!! Also, let others know that I will be having these, so they can get the chance to get a slot as well!

After you email me, I will email you full details on additional print/products pricing, info that I will need you to fill out and the exact location.

I can not Wait! It is going to be lots of fun and I can't wait to meet some new, fun families!

Holiday Mini Sessions...

I know, I know!! it is still 100 degrees outside and I am already thinking about the holidays!! But it is already the middle of September!


(since it is so hard to post without a picture, here is "E" enjoying her days of summer!)

BUT I just wanted to let you know that I will be offering mini sessions during the month of October. I have a few dates picked out, and I will put the full details up next week. The sessions will be about 30 minutes and include a set of Greeting cards. Again stay tuned for next week, when I will put up the full details with the dates/locations/pricing.

Anyways, doing the sessions in October will give us the time needed to get your images up for you to pick which ones to use on your cards. Also, that gives us plenty of time to get the cards designed and printed in time for December.
