Random bikes in middle of town... | Kendra Jean Photography

kendra jean photography

Driving around town, looking for my moms house that she grew up in, I came across this bike. I just love it! Just leaning right there along the street against a tree, with the little flower pot on the front!

We did find my moms house, and I think it would be so much fun to live right in middle of such a fun, charming old town!! here is her house in Virginia, Minnesota. Her and all of her siblings lived there until they moved down here to Phoenix.

Sneak Peaks... | kendra jean photography

Photobucket

I shot this wedding at the end of July. It was of course a beautiful wedding! We were worried about it raining because the day before was rainy and all morning was cloudy and sprinkling on and off! It ended up being just perfect, the sun came out and the sky cleared up a little. It was nice and cool.

My sister also had her baby, a little over a week ago. I brought her over some dinner and at the same time had to grab a few pictures of brand new Elliot! He was about 4 days old here. I will post a few more again, when I get them done!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Duluth... | Kendra Jean Photography

Ahhh... walking along the shores of Lake Superior....

Boy oh boy, these pictures are heavenly to look at now. As I sit here typing this out it is currently in the triple digits!!

We made a few trips to Duluth, along with a drive up the north shore to Grand Marais and back. Although the water was freezing, the kids still loved wading in it and walking along it!

I think the kids' favorite thing to do in Duluth was to watch the bridge go up and down for boats. We got lucky and were able to see this HUGE barge come through!

Home again, home again...

We are back in our own home finally!!

Our family drove up to Minnesota in the beginning of May. We just got home about a week or so ago! It was a very fun summer, full of visiting with family and spending time touring my husbands home town. The kids just loved playing outside in the green grass and tons of room to run! The weather was absolutely gorgeous! I think our hottest day was on one of our trips to Duluth, when it was 93 degrees. But other than that it was a colder than normal summer according to every one out there! We spent the first week in Big Lake, then headed North to Virginia. And the first morning we woke up, up there, there was SNOW flurries falling!! That was about May 12th! It was so nice to pull out the sweaters and spend a good portion of summer bundled up! But, back to the summers were used to here in Phoenix, HOT!!

Anyways, we had lots of fun! I will be sharing pictures from various parts of our summer living in Minnesota over the next few weeks. As I look through them all I will post!

Here are a few pictures for now...

Although its nice being back home in our own home, looking through these pictures is sure making me miss the cool weather, pretty trees and GREEN grass!
